Beginning at sunset this Sunday, September 20, Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Translating to ‘Day of Atonement’, it marks the final day of the Ten Days of Repentance that began earlier this month on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
