Donated defibrillator to make Horsham safer

A defibrillator funded by a donation made by a cardiac arrest survivor has been installed at an entrance to Swan Walk in Horsham, West Sussex. The life-saving equipment, which can be used by anyone if someone suffers a cardiac arrest, has been placed at the West Street entrance to Swan Walk, next to Wilkinsons. Increase in Flu Activity

We are approaching what is considered historically the height of the flu season and national reports are showing an increase in flu activity over the past two weeks. The Department of Health has issued a letter given permission for antiviral medicines to be prescribed to those patients presenting with flu like symptoms which is always an indicator that flu activity is worsening.
