This year’s Annual Members Meeting was a great success with many of our Members, Staff and our Volunteers in attendence and actively engaged in the work we are doing.

About our Annual Members Meeting

Our Annual Members Meeting is open to all our members, patients, staff, volunteers, and the public.

This year, the event was held at The Orchard, Events Venue, West Malling, ME19 6BH on Thursday 14th September 2023.

The AMM is designed to share with Members the improvements we have made to our service and our plans for further improvements. We also like the event to be interactive so there are demonstrations and stands and we hold a live Q&A session so members can ask our Chief Executive and other colleagues further questions.

Why attend?

• Hear direct from our Chief Executive and ask a question in our Q&A.
• Be in the know with the latest SECAmb news in your area.
• Learn lifesaving CPR skills.
• Talk to our staff and volunteers who are hosting exhibition stands as part of the event – learn about our services, the latest clinical innovations and find out about voluntary roles within the Trust.
• Meet other members with an interest in the ambulance service.
• See inside an ambulance and meet our frontline staff.
• Meet our Governors – they represent you!

The event takes place at The Orchard Events Venue and you are welcome to attend from 1.15pm to visit our range of stalls and meet our staff and volunteers. Tea Coffee and biscuits will be served at that time.

The AMM formally commences at 2.30pm and will finish at 4.30pm.

Getting there:

The Orchard Events Venue is easily accessible from a number of forms of transport.

By road: Accessible via junction 4 of the M20 via the A228. For sat nav users please use postcode ME19 6BH.

There are parking spaces available for our event onsite plus an additional overflow car park.

By rail: The venue is easily accessible from West Malling Train station.
