Annual Members Meeting – Friday 3rd September 2021

SECAmb is a membership organisation (Foundation Trust) and every year we invite our members (both staff and public) to attend our popular Annual Members Meeting (AMM) celebrating all the excellent work our staff and volunteers undertake and to highlight areas where we are working hard to improve.

Given the circumstances, this year’s event will take place online again on Friday 3rd September 2021 from 2.30pm – 4pm.

Due to changed timelines during Covid, our Annual Report cannot be formally laid before Parliament until later in September. We will present an audited draft version of the report signed off by the Trust Board to the Council of Governors and our members. The report is available to read here and this will be updated once laid.

It will be a live webinar open to all.

You can register for the event here and add it to your online calendar:

Please note: If you use a mobile device you will need to download the teams app to access the live event. If you are using a desktop/laptop the event will work through a browser (the web version of teams).

At the event, you will hear from our Chief Executive on our response to the pandemic and we’ll do a bit of a look back over the year. You’ll hear from other colleagues on what it has been like working during the pandemic and be given an overview of where our funding comes from and how we spend it.

You’ll also hear how your Governors have been representing you and seeking assurance around performance, staff wellbeing and safety over the last few months. We will be holding elections for Staff and Public Governors in the autumn so it’s a good opportunity to learn more about this role.

There will also be a question-and-answer session which you are encouraged to take part in.

The event will be recorded if you can’t join when it’s live.
