 Audit Office report on NHS Ambulance Services

 challenges facing the ambulance service. We are pleased that it
 highlights a number of issues including rising demand not being
 matching by increases in funding, handover delays at A&Es and
 that response times targets should not be the only measure of
 ambulance service performance. We will continue to work closely
 with our partners in the NHS and beyond to make improvements to the
 service we provide wherever possible.”
