South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) would like to thank the public and staff for their support at this year’s Brighton and Hove Pride event.
Another fantastic weekend of celebrations on Saturday, 2 August saw over 90 colleagues from SECAmb take part in the Brighton Pride parade with incredible support from the local community and members of the public attending from further afield.
Showcasing the Trust’s newly unveiled Pride vehicle, kindly funded through sponsorship by some of SECAmb’s suppliers and unions, the weekend was a fun and colourful celebration in support of the LGBT + community.
Members of the Trust’s PRIDE in SECAmb network and colleagues across the Trust proudly came together to show their support and celebrate inclusivity, equality and diversity in our communities.
Vice-Chair of PRIDE in SECAmb network, Benjamin Marlow said: "What an incredible year and turnout once again at Brighton & Hove Pride! A heartfelt thank you to all the colleagues who generously gave their time to attend, colleagues who worked across the busy weekend both on the road and in our emergency operations centres and to the public for their support in helping us manage demand over Brighton Pride. We look forward to seeing you again in 2026.”
Our thanks also go to our Pride vehicle sponsors, Optima Health, Unison and GMB and to Jellyfish Designs for the design and fitting.
