South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation
Trust (SECAmb) will be showcasing its ‘Simbulance’ at a very much
hands on stand at this year’s Emergency Services Show at
Birmingham’s NEC.

The state-of-the-art specially-modified simulation vehicle, will
provide visitors with the opportunity to test their clinical skills
while learning about clinical roles and career opportunities at the
Trust.

SECAmb will also be highlighting the dual clinical roles
available throughout its Kent, Surrey and Sussex region, which see
staff work in either the Trust’s Emergency Operations Centres or in
NHS 111 as well as out on the road as a paramedic.

There is also a chance to find out more about the Trust’s
voluntary service and Community First Responder roles.

The Trust will be exhibiting on both days of the show, which is
being held at the NEC in Birmingham on 20-21 September. Find the
Trust at stand A15.

SECAmb Assistant Director of HR Operations, Clare Irving, said:
“We’re really looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s show and
we’re sure that visitors will find our stand both interesting and
informative. There are real opportunities for career progression at
SECAmb both in our control rooms and out on the road as well as at
our HQ. We’d urge people to visit us to practice their clinical
skills and find out how a move to SECAmb could be right next step
for them.”
