Members of the public will have the chance to learn more about how we are empowering our colleagues to make positive changes to improve patient care at our next virtual community forum event.
Open to anyone with an interest in the ambulance service, the event will take place between 11:00 to 12:30 on Tuesday, 26 November.
Providing insight in how we are giving colleagues the chance to develop their improvement ideas will be our Head of Quality Improvement, who explain how we do this through Quality Improvement (QI) methodology.
The event is also a fantastic opportunity for people to share their experiences and perspectives on our 999 and 111 services, as well as hearing from other patients who are speaking up and sharing their stories.
Our forum meetings are held bi-monthly and are open to all members of the public. If you are interested in joining the November forum and contributing to the future of our service, please contact us on engagementteam@secamb.nhs.uk.
Vikki Baldock, the Trust's Patient Engagement Lead, said: "Patient stories are vital in ensuring that care is truly centred on the needs, preferences, and values of those we serve.
“These stories offer invaluable insights into what matters most to patients, often revealing aspects that traditional feedback mechanisms or surveys may not capture.
“By giving the public a platform to have their voices heard, we can learn from their experiences and continuously improve the care we provide."
