Your latest issue of the Clinical Newsletter and Shared Learning
is available now and full of valuable information.
In this edition is an update of all the latest JRCALC
recommendations and news of a new app that will provide up to date
JRCALC advice on your phone or iPAD.
The app will not only host the
most up-to-date JRCALC guidelines, it also has the ability to hold
locally developed Trust guidelines.
The Trust’s Code Yellow Group, set up
to improve outcomes for potentially septic patients, is seeing its
remit widened.
The group, which will now be known as
the Deteriorating Patient Group, was first launched in 2014 to
support the development of the Code Yellow Sepsis pathway and led
to clinicians screening tens of thousands of patients at risk of
severe sepsis.
Medicines Management is taking centre
stage at the moment and the reasons for this are simple – we are
not compliant with the law.
A lot had been done to rectify the
situation as the Trust works to become fully compliant. There is
still much to be done to embed good practice across the Trust.
Are you aware of a piece of equipment

re-launched Clinical Equipment and Consumables Sub Group.
The Learning area looks at two case
studies.
