South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) is pleased to announce the appointment of a substantive Chief Finance Officer (CFO). Saba Sadiq has held a number of senior finance roles in the NHS and will take up her new role on 3 July.
Following Siobhan Melia returning to her substantive role at Sussex Community Trust last month, former interim CFO Martin Sheldon was appointed as Interim Chief Executive until Simon Weldon joins the Trust as its substantive Chief Executive on 24 April.

Martin will then take on a new role at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board. We are pleased that Charles Porter, formerly the Director of Finance at South Central Ambulance Service, will take on the role of interim CFO prior to Saba Sadiq joining in July.
One further change will see the Trust’s Director of Quality & Nursing, Rob Nicholls, shortly take up a secondment opportunity at Barts Health NHS Trust; current Deputy Director of Quality & Nursing, Margaret Dalziel, will cover in Rob’s absence.
