A recording from the our annual general meeting is now available for those wishing to find out more about what the Trust achieved in 2022/23 and its aspirations for the future.

The meeting was held at The Orchards conference facilities at East Malling in Kent, on Thursday, 14 September.

Welcoming the public, colleagues and volunteers, it was an opportunity for the Trust to showcase some of the fantastic work that it has achieved in the last year.

Among the many stalls there was representation from our Freedom to Speak Up Team, Quality Improvement, Infection, Prevention Control, Clinical Education, Volunteer Team and Advance Practice Paramedics, 111 and many more!

Both our Chair, David Astley and Lead Trust Governor, Leigh Westwood, gave overviews on the year’s performance, before our Chief Executive, Simon Weldon, spoke about the future and our Chief Finance Officer, Saba Sadiq spoke on our financial position.

This was followed by an informative presentation from our Chief Medical Officer, Rachel Oaten, with Associate Director Strategic Partnerships/System Engagement, Matt Webb, regarding the development of our clinically-led Trust strategy.

Following the presentations, our Chair lead a question-and-answer session before the event was brought to a close.
