South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is pleased to once again be showing its support of the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by featuring a special design on the side of some of its ambulances

Vehicles across the Trust’s fleet will feature poppy stickers with an additional 12 ambulances, spread across the Trust’s Kent, Surrey and Sussex region, carrying a larger remembrance design on their sides. The vehicles are already out on the road responding to patients.

SECAmb Chief Executive, Philip Astle, said: “I am pleased that we are able to show our support for the Poppy Appeal in this way. The poppy is a symbol of our remembrance to those, civilian and military alike, who have died in wars over the years and we will remember them all.

“We have strong links with the armed forces with many staff, including myself having had previous careers in the forces or continuing to serve as reservists. I am glad our Poppy-wrapped ambulances will once again serve as a visual sign of our remembrance.”
