Canadian paramedic firefighter and artist
Daniel Sundahl will be visiting the Trust on Saturday, 18 June to
meet staff and gain inspiration for images of UK emergency
 services.
Dan has been a full-time paramedic in Canada
for 13 years where he has developed a passion for emergency
services artwork to help raise awareness of mental health and PTSD
 amongst the public safety community.
He will be selling copies of his hardcover art
 book, Portraits of an
Emergency, for £35 each which he will hand sign.
Daniel will be using the proceeds from the
book sale to send a first responder to the International Critical
Incident Stress Foundation’s conference in Baltimore next year.
The conference is focused on improving and managing mental
health and critical incident stress management.
He will be at Crawley Make Ready from 1000hrs
until 1400hrs and at Banstead EOC from 1500hrs until
 1700hrs.
If you think you’d like a copy of Daniels
magnificent work then please contact Rob Mason (rob.mason@secamb.nhs.uk) in
the first instance to ensure sufficient copies will be
 available.
