South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation
Trust (SECAmb) has been awarded the ‘Gold Standard’ for the third
year running at the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion
 (ENEI) awards.
The only NHS organisation to be awarded the standard, SECAmb was
recognised alongside the Home Office, Santander and Zurich
Insurance at the awards which were held at the Law Society in
 London on 7 July.
SECAmb received the gold standard after participating in ENEI’s
 ‘e-quality’ benchmarking diversity process.
The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of
organisations that have taken a lead in challenging discrimination
and are working inclusively to tap into their talented
 workforce.
SECAmb’s Inclusion Manager Angela Rayner represented the Trust
at the event along with Acting Director of Strategy and Business
 Development, Jon Amos.
Angela said: “I’m delighted that we’ve now been given this
standard for the third year in a row. It not only highlights our
ongoing work around equality, diversity and inclusion, but it also
sends an important message to our patients, our staff  and the
public that we value and respect everyone for who they
 are.”
