Welcome to you next career opportunity

One of the largest ambulance trusts in the UK, we work across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire – a diverse geographical area of 3,600 square miles which includes densely populated urban areas, sparsely populated rural areas and some of the busiest stretches of motorway in the country.

In addition to our 999 service, controlled by two Emergency Operations Centres in Crawley and Medway, we also provide an integrated 111 and Clinical Assessment Service from our contact centres in Medway and Crawley for Kent, Medway and Sussex.

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) has reaffirmed its commitment to making improvements following  Care Quality Commission (CQC) report in the service in 2022.

While the Trust’s overall rating is currently  ‘Requires Improvement’,  we are pleased the care provided by our staff was recognised with a ‘Good’ rating and that inspectors found and were encouraged that Trust leaders were showing a sense of urgency in prioritising the issues which had previously been identified when visiting the Trust in 2023.

The Trust continues to make good progress and is working hard to address the concerns raised by the CQC.

You can read more about our CQC rating and inspections by visiting this page.
