A visit to the headquarters of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) by SECAmb’s Interim CEO Jen Allan has underlined the close partnership between the two organisations.
Jen was given a tour of the airbase at Redhill by David Welch, KSS Chief Executive, and Leigh Curtis, Executive Director of Service Delivery.
“I really appreciated the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of how KSS operates, and see first-hand how our teams work together to deliver critical care across the region,” said Jen.
The visit provided an overview of the air ambulance’s service delivery model, clinical operations and aircraft. Crews from KSS and SECAmb work together at serious incidents across the region, united in purpose to save lives and ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Jen to KSS and provide an insight into the work our teams do every day to deliver lifesaving pre-hospital critical care,” said David.
“As longstanding partners, KSS and SECAmb share a commitment to providing the very best care for patients across our region, and we look forward to continuing to work closely together to strengthen that collaboration in the future.”
