Charity Impact

When people donate, fundraise or support SECAmb Charity, they often ask one simple question: what difference does it make?

Over recent months, charitable funding has helped support a wide range of projects benefiting patients, communities and ambulance colleagues across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire.

One of the biggest areas of impact has been community resilience. Through funding secured from NHS Charities Together, SECAmb Charity has helped bring more than £142,000 into the organisation to support projects focused on helping communities feel more prepared and confident when emergencies happen.

As part of this work, three Community Resuscitation Officers have been recruited to increase CPR awareness and training across the region. Since launching, the programme has already helped 2,181 people gain CPR and basic life support skills.

Alongside this, the charity has continued to support a range of smaller projects and grant requests.

In 2025/2006

17 grant requests have been supported, helping fund staff physiotherapy and health sessions, station and staff wellbeing activities, staff network engagement events and equipment to support learning and development.

The charity has also continued to invest in fundraising activities and community engagement, helping build new partnerships and opportunities to support the work of South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Every donation, fundraiser, challenge event participant and supporter plays a part in making this possible.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support SECAmb Charity.
