People
Our ambulance crews and staff often work in physically demanding and emotionally challenging circumstances. Thanks to your support, we have been able to fund additional physiotherapy sessions, giving frontline colleagues access to vital treatment that helps them recover, stay well, and continue caring for others. We are also proud to support our staff networks, including GEN and Pride, who create safe and supportive spaces and champion equality across our Trust.
Patients
Community First Responders (CFRs) regularly go above and beyond, fundraising for additional equipment, information, and tools to ensure patients receive expert care when every second counts. The charity has also funded a trial of the Emergency Responder programme, testing new ways of delivering life-saving care in our communities. With your help, we will continue to find innovative ways to meet the growing needs of our patients.
Communities
With the help of NHS Charities Together COVID-19 fundraising, and the generosity of local supporters, the charity has been able to provide vital backing to Community First Responders and volunteers. This support has helped them continue their amazing work on the frontline and in local neighbourhoods – from responding to emergencies to raising awareness and providing education in life-saving skills. Their contribution strengthens resilience across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire, and ensures that communities remain at the heart of everything we do.
