Safeguarding vulnerable adults and children

The Trust works in partnership with other health and social care agencies to prevent harm, and support individuals and communities with additional needs or who have difficulties accessing healthcare including those with learning difficulties or disabilities.

The Trust has policies and procedures for safeguarding vulnerable children and adults and a Safegurding Action Plan to continously improve its support for vulnerable people. We are also developing a toolkit to support those suffering from domestic violence.
