We'll update this page with more information soon, but for now, here are the governors' election statements:

Alison Arnold

My interest in the proposed Foundation Trust stems from my previous career as a nurse and a genuine interest in how Emergency services are evolving to meet the needs of the population. These are services we all hope we will never need but as potential “customers” I feel it is our own responsibility to take an active interest in the development and continuing stability of this very vital service.

I hope that, if elected, I will bring my experience to the role as a previous Lead Governor and current Governor of a Mental Health Foundation Trust.

Declaration of Interests:

Political Party: None

Financial or other interest in the Trust: None

Ted Coleman

The job of a Governor is to represent the views of the public and to advise and question the Board of Directors. As a Community Responder for the last few years, I am well placed to understand what the public look for from the Ambulance Service.

I also bring financial and statistical expertise through a career in the insurance industry. I have a university degree in mathematics and am a qualified Actuary. I am a magistrate. My other interests include running, music, and scuba diving. I have worked and travelled in many countries and I am fluent in German.

Declaration of Interests:

Political Party: None

Financial or other interest in the Trust: I am a volunteer Community Responder
