Annual Members Meeting 2017

Your invitation to SECAmb’s Annual Members Meeting

All our members, patients, and the public are invited to attend our Annual Members Meeting (AMM) which takes place at Ditton Community Centre in Aylesford, Kent, on Thursday 28 September 2017.

We received some lovely feedback from last year’s event, and we have used your feedback to hopefully provide a bigger and even better event this year. We hope to see you there, you can book your place online here:
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/AMM17

The event will include a range of stalls, highlighting many different areas of our work and also other local health organisations in the area. There will be the opportunity to meet our staff and learn more about what we do, as well as to meet some of the Trust’s volunteers, Governors, and the Board of Directors, and hear about the Trust’s activities over the past year.

The event takes place in Oaken Hall at Ditton Community Centre and you are welcome to attend from 1.30pm to visit our range of stalls and meet our staff and volunteers. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at that time. The AMM formally commences at 2.30pm and will finish at 4.30pm.

Venue address: Ditton Community Centre, Kilnbarn Road, Aylesford, Kent, ME20 6AH.

Getting there: There is ample free parking onsite. The venue is located between junction 4 and 5 on the M20. You then come off the A20 onto New Road, which leads on to Kiln Barn Road. As you come along Kiln Barn Road you’ll see brown signs for the community centre. When using a satnav the postcode delivers you just short of the venue, so follow the road along and the signs. Aylesford train station is 1 mile from the venue. We will reimburse members’ taxi fares from Aylesford train station upon provision of a receipt. More information on this can be found in your confirmation letter which is sent out to registered attendees closer to the time. Ditton Corner is the nearest bus stop and it is then a 13-minute walk to the venue.

Accessibility: There are parking spaces for people with a blue badge in front of the community centre. The venue is fully accessible, including accessible toilets. There will be a speech-to-text typist during the AMM. Please let us know if you have any other requirements to enable you to attend.

RSVP: To let us know you are planning to come, please register online by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/AMM17
If you are unable to register online please call the Membership Office on 0300 123 9180 and leave your name, post code and telephone number alongside names of any additional attendees. Upon doing this please assume we have received your registration. Confirmation details will be sent out approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Please advise us if you would like to observe at our Council of Governors meeting taking place at 10am in the Don Carmen Hall at the community centre. There is limited capacity within this room so requests will be on a first come first served basis. Do come along!
