Member events and activities

Here you can find out about upcoming meetings, events and how you can get more involved.

When you joined us as a member you will have been asked to tell us how much you would like to be involved with the Trust, and in what ways. If your preferences change, please contact the membership office.

members workshop The different options available are:

Receive information e.g. members’ newsletter,
Respond to surveys and questionnaires from time to time,
Be involved in/comment on public information leaflets,
Come to events,
Be part of a panel or working group (relevant to your interests),
Find out more about becoming a governor,
Be sent membership forms to recruit others.

You will be invited to get involved according to your stated preferences, but we will highlight all public events, consultations, and opportunities to get involved in our newsletter and on this page – so anyone can take part.

Forthcoming events and meetings

We have regular public Council meetings and public Board meetings. Members are encouraged to attend and there is a slot for questions from members and the public.

A representative group of our public members are part of an advisory group, working closely with us to advise on our plans. Vacancies on the group will be advertised in the membership newsletter, Your Call. Read more about our commitment to inclusion and involvement.

Our Governors try to get out into their local communities as much as possible. This Summer, we will be attending a number of events and would love to see members there:

· Surrey County Show: 27^th May (May Bank Holiday)

· East Grinsted 999 Day (with the fire service and police): 9^th June. Held at East Grinstead Town Council.

· Eastbourne 999 Day (with the fire service and police): 6^th – 7^th July

· Kent County Show: 12^th – 14^th July

· Cranleigh Show: August 3^rd
