Making a donation

If you would like to make a donation to SECAmb, perhaps because of the care a loved one has received from our staff, then we would of course be more than grateful to receive your gift.

All such donations are paid into our Charitable Fund which was set up to ensure that gifted money is spent carefully – all funds must be used in a way that will benefit the staff and/or public in SECAmb’s region.

We would kindly request that if possible, you are general regarding the intended purpose of your donation. Having this flexibility usually means that the money is spent more timely - the ambulance service is constantly evolving and it is difficult to predict how money will be best used at a future point.

An example of a donation request that we could quickly process is: ‘This bequest is to purchase medical equipment for use of staff in the Kent area.’ This would give us the scope to use the money on defibrillators, or put it towards the purchase of a vehicle for example. Requests for money to be spent in certain geographical location are not considered restrictive.

If you have any questions on donations or bequests please contact our Finance department on 01273 484779, or write to us at our Crawley HQ at South East Coast Ambulance Service, Nexus House, 4 Gatwick Road, Crawley RH10 9BG.

Alternatively you may contact us via e-mail at treasury@secamb.nhs.uk
