We employ 3,000 staff of which 80 per cent of staff are delivering the front line service, dealing with at least one emergency every second of every day!

Operating across more than 60 sites and providing an emergency service to 4.3 million people, this makes us one of the most busiest services in the country.

We are also sign-posting people to the care they need through the NHS 111 service which we provide from our centre in Ashford, Kent.

None of this would be possible without the support from other services such as IT, Finance and recruitment teams helping to support us to deliver a high quality service to patients across our region.
