SECAmb response to national NHS Staff Survey results

6 March 2018

The results of the latest national NHS Staff Survey have been published today. Our results can be viewed here:

Commenting on the results SECAmb Chief Executive Daren Mochrie said: “While we have seen improved feedback in some areas, overall our results are disappointing and highlight that we are performing less well than other ambulance services. This confirms that we still have much to do on our improvement journey.

“I am sure we will continue to make positive changes this year and very much appreciate the great work already under way in many of those areas covered by the survey.  These changes will benefit our working environment and, ultimately, the care and service we provide to our patients.

“We value the views of all our staff and will be working through these results with them to ensure they help to re-focus and improve the work which is already under way.

“We are very proud of the efforts our staff put in, every day, to deliver the very best care to patients. We will continue to work hard to ensure they have the right tools and support to provide this care and be best placed to perform their jobs.”
