Have a say on the future of your ambulance service
25 July 2012
South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS
Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is inviting members of the public to
become part of a new group which will bring together people with a
range of views and perspectives from across its Kent, Surrey and
Sussex region.
SECAmb’s Advisory Group will be briefed by
Trust staff on future plans for the service. SECAmb will gather the
views of the group to inform those plans and seek the group’s
advice on whether wider community engagement is necessary. In
addition, group members will be able to bring their own priorities
and ideas to SECAmb’s attention.
SECAmb is inviting anyone who would be able to
dedicate a minimum of six days a year to the group to apply by
telling us more about themselves and why they would like to join.
The deadline for applications to reach us is 31 August.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection
panel of governors, staff and other stakeholders. Anyone who is
interested is asked to read the role description for being an
Advisory Group member before applying. Further information,
including the role description and the application form is
available at
www.secamb.nhs.uk/get_involved/patient_and_public_involvement.aspx.
If you don’t have web access or would like a
printed copy of the application form and role description, contact
Julia Leppard on julia.leppard@secamb.nhs.uk
or 01273 897870.
