Council of Governors
Council of Governors
Our governors play a vital role in representing you and working
with the Trust Board. The Council is made
up of 26 people; 14 publically elected governors, four
staff-elected governors and eight governors appointed from
organisations SECAmb works closely with.
The Council is part of the governance of the Trust. The Council
appoints the Chair and Non-Executive Directors, as well as the
Trust's external auditor. In addition, the Council is kept informed
about the Trust's plans and the structure is designed to
provide patients and the public with assurance that the
Trust is putting the patient at the heart of all we do.
